Services

This first appointment is all about getting to know you better and where we’ll chat about your concerns, emotions, and life experiences. We'll explore not only your mental health history, but also your lifestyle, nutrition, stress levels, and even how your relationships and environment impact your mental state. By taking this holistic approach, we aim to create a personalized treatment plan that may include traditional medications, counseling, mindfulness practices, and more – all tailored to support you in achieving mental and emotional balance. Don't worry; there are no right or wrong answers, and I’m here to listen and help.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Follow-Up Visits/Medication Management with Supportive Therapy

Medication is only recommended when clinically necessary and after alternative, non-pharmacological treatment options have been explored. When starting a medication for the first time or when adjusting dosages, these sessions occur twice a month in order to discuss how the medication is working for you, any improvements you've noticed, and if there are any side effects or concerns. . Once an effective regimen is established, the frequency of these sessions is decreased to what we mutually agree is appropriate.

Lab Testing

Lab testing can give us valuable insight into your physical health, brain chemistry, underlying medical conditions, nutrient deficiencies, or hormonal imbalances that could be contributing to mental health concerns. By conducting lab tests, we can make accurate diagnoses, tailor treatment plans, and ensure the safest and most effective use of medications. Routine labs may be covered by insurance.
